    Freeze-drying generally retains most of the nutrients in food, particularly vitamins and minerals. However, some vitamin loss, especially vitamin C, can occur during the process.

  • Can you freeze-dry any type of food?

    Almost any food can be freeze-dried, including fruits, vegetables, meats, dairy, and even entire meals. However, high-fat foods may not freeze-dry as well.

  • What does freeze-dried candy taste like?

    Freeze-dried candy typically retains its original flavor but has a crisp, airy texture. The process intensifies the sweetness and alters the mouthfeel, making it a unique snacking experience.

  • Is freeze-dried food healthy?

    Freeze-dried food is healthy as it retains most of the original nutrients of fresh food. However, the health value depends on the food’s original nutritional content.

  • How do you rehydrate freeze-dried food?

    To rehydrate, simply add water and wait a few minutes. The food will absorb the water and regain its original texture and size.

  • Are there any preservatives in freeze-dried food?

    Generally, freeze-drying does not require preservatives, as the removal of moisture prevents bacterial growth and decay.

  • How does freeze-dried food differ from dehydrated food?

    Freeze-drying removes about 98-99% of moisture, preserving flavor and nutrients better than dehydration, which typically removes about 80-90% of moisture.

  • Can freeze-dried food be used in cooking?

    Yes, freeze-dried food is versatile and can be used in cooking. It can be rehydrated and used like fresh food or added directly to dishes like soups and stews.

  • What are your shipping options and costs?
    • Free shipping if buyer lives in Windsor Essex area (Windsor, Lasalle, Tecumseh)
    • $25 buy minimum to place an order, basic shipping is $20 In Canada
    • $50+ orders shipping is only $15 in Canada.

  • How long does it take to process and dispatch an order?

    Depending on the amount ordered and the inventory availability the minimum it can take is 2-3 days to process and dispatch an order however it may take an estimated 5-7 business days to get your order.

  • Do you offer international shipping?

    Yes, we offer international shipping. However, we are not responsible for paying or replacing any damaged goods and paying and border service fees.

  • Can I track my order once it's been dispatched?

    Yes, you will receive a code after your order has been placed on the email you have provided at checkout, from there you will be able to track your package.

  • Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

    You are not able to change you order after it has been placed. You are only able to cancel your order only up to 24 hours after it has been placed and will have to pay a minimum $5 fee or a 15% charge of your order total within that 24 hour window.

  • What is your return policy for items bought?

    Due to the nature of our freeze-dried products, we are unable to accept returns if you are unsatisfied with your purchase. However, we value your experience and offer a discount code for up to 15% off your next order as a gesture of our commitment to customer satisfaction.   • How do I initiate a return or exchange?

    For any issues related to damaged or incorrect items, please contact our customer service team. While we don’t offer returns for dissatisfaction, we are committed to addressing any concerns with damaged or incorrect items promptly.

  • Who is responsible for return shipping costs?

    In the rare instance that a return is necessary due to a damaged or incorrect item, we will cover the return shipping costs. Please contact our customer service team to arrange for the return and to receive a prepaid shipping label.

  • How long does it take to process a return and issue a refund?

    Upon receiving and inspecting returned items for damage or error, we will process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method, and exchanges will be dispatched as quickly as possible

  • What should I do if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

    If your order arrives damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. We kindly ask you to provide photos of the damaged or incorrect item for our records. We will arrange for a replacement as soon as possible.
